Old Crow Medicine Show’s New Album ‘Paint This Town’ Out Today

Today, Old Crow Medicine Show releases their seventh studio album Paint This Town. Marking a return to form for the two-time GRAMMY award-winning group, Paint This Town is already garnering widespread acclaim, with many critics calling it their best release to date. The band will celebrate with a special album release show tonight in The Blue Room at Third Man Records, streaming live on SiriusXM Outlaw Country.

Fueled by Old Crow Medicine Show’s freewheeling collision of Americana, old-time music, folk and rock & roll, Paint This Town pulls off the rare and essential feat of turning razor-sharp commentary into the kind of songs that inspire rapturous singing along. From the rollicking debut single “Paint This Town” to the rowdy divorce anthem “Bombs Away” to the melancholy love song “Honey Chile” and the gospel-inspired “Gloryland,” Paint This Town is Old Crow Medicine Show’s most incisive body of work to date. The band recorded the album in their very own East Nashville-based Hartland Studio and co-produced it with Matt Ross-Spang (John Prine, Jason Isbell), resulting in a riveting collection of songs that recall the unpredictable punk-ethos of their earliest busking days. Nearly 25 years into their career, the new album shows us exactly why this group has become one of the most influential and respected roots acts of the last two decades.

Old Crow Medicine Show has hit the road for a coast to coast spring/summer tour in support of Paint This Town. Find a full list of tour dates below or at www.crowmedicine.com/tour.
