Drive-By Truckers release live version of “What It Means” from Newport Folk
The Drive-By Truckers have released a new digital single for “What It Means” recorded live at this summers Newport Folk Festival. It was the highlight of a powerful, energized set – and a crowning moment in the past year of the bands life, touring behind the politically charged (and critically acclaimed) American Band. Patterson Hood tells Rolling Stone: “When we recorded [the album] they hadn’t even had the first primary yet.
