Everest

2012
Ownerless

Everest is a group based out of Los Angeles, CA and Nashville, TN. The band was formed by Russell Pollard, Jason Soda, and Joel Graves in 2007. Noted bassist/producer Elijah Thomson (Richard Swift, Delta Spirit, Father John Misty) joined in 2008.  The band has released three full length albums, available wherever music is sold.

Everest began their career with a self-financed recording (2008’s “Ghost Notes”) that caught the ear of Lookout Management’s Elliot Roberts,.  With the approval of his partner Neil Young, Roberts signed Everest to their boutique indie label, Vapor Records. After a stint on Warner Brothers Records (2010’s “On Approach”), the band released their latest album “Ownerless” with ATO Records in June of 2012.  Everest has played live on the late night television shows of David Letterman, Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Fallon and Craig Ferguson. The band has shared the stage with artists such as Neil Young, Wilco, My Morning Jacket, Spoon, Minus The Bear, Los Lobos, Supergrass, Alabama Shakes, Band of Horses, Dr. Dog, Delta Spirit, Ray Davies, Silversun Pickups and Young The Giant; in venues ranging in size from Wook & Sass’s living room to Madison Square Garden.
