“Their songs are smooth-running, precision-crafted melodic machines…”Rolling Stone

“Their pop sensibilities offer more twists and turns than the usual ‘verse/chorus’ formula, but there are still big, catchy hooks. It’s just that those hooks seem to happen after you’ve taken a journey through a story, so the hook sinks much deeper and offers a kind of emotional relief.” – NPR

“The duo’s humorous lyrics and off-beat instrumentation make for some very catchy tunes” – WXPN

“the independent music scene is currently booming in the Oceanic continent. Notable artists like Lorde, Flume, Courtney Barnett, etc. all call Australia and New Zealand their home, and Oh Pep! adds another name to the list.” – Paste

“Insidiously catchy. They make bubbling pop music with dramatic flourishes.” – Stereogum

“Indie-pop with the emphasis on “pop”: Their songs are smooth-running, precision-crafted melodic machines that just happen to be written and performed by two or three people instead of a factory.” – Rolling Stone

“This is pop at its most kinetic, propelled forward by a steady snare beat, the rhythmic scratch of strings, and the undeniable energy that exists between songwriters Olivia Hally and Pepita Emmerichs.” – Consequence of Sound
