9/13/2011 – Primus’ first studio album in 11 years is available everywhere now! Titled Green Naugahyde, the record was produced and engineered by Les Claypool in his personal studio, Rancho Relaxo, in Northern California, and features Claypool, long-time guitarist Larry LaLonde and drummer Jay Lane. Green Naugahyde expands on Primus’ incomparable sound and also sees them bringing it into the next millennium. It is a cerebral and complex album that, like all of the band’s output, is teeming with the band’s signature blend of whimsy and underlying darkness – and we love it.
Lisa Hannigan’s new album Passenger is now out on ATO Records. Hannigan takes you through a 10 song journey, further developing her signature vocal sound and songwriting. “Many of [the songs] were written while I was away from home or on the road, and the feeling of transience and nostalgia that this constant traveling evoked seemed to seep into every song.” The overarching theme of the record, then, is “those loves, heartbreaks, confusions and friendships that we take with us through life, over years and continents, enduring the passage of time.”
Passenger is available now on iTunes and Amazon!

Alberta Cross are excited to announce the October 4th release of their highly-anticipated new album, The Rolling Thunder EP.
The EP was recorded at legendary studios Electric Lady in New York City and Sunset Sound in Los Angeles and was inspired by time spent across the globe – from a cottage in Wales to the haunting seclusion of the North Carolina woods.
The limited edition EP, of which only 2000 copies were printed, will be available exclusively at the band’s concerts and indie retail stores, until the release of an entirely new full-length album in early 2012.

Here at ATO Records, we are excited and proud to announce the newest member of our musical family, Caitlin Rose!
Nashville’s Caitlin Rose first appeared on the radar of music critics this year with the release of her widely praised debut full-length Own Side Now. Drawing inspiration from female greats like Linda Ronstadt, Patsy Cline and Stevie Nicks, Own Side Now is an exquisite collection, showcasing a maturity in songwriting that few possess at such a young age.
Although steeped in the country tradition, Caitlinʼs music is not constrained by that heritage. Her confessional style and wry observations place her very much in the 21st Century, but the heart- wrenching honesty, lyrical prowess and dexterous lyrical delivery found in her music sets Rose apart from her peers.
Co-produced by Mark Nevers (Lambchop, Will Oldham & Andrew Bird), Skylar Wilson (Justin Townes Earle) and Rose at the Beech House in Nashville, Own Side Now establishes Caitlin Roseʼs diverse talent as the real thing – with every song, she seems to be singlehandedly breathing new life into a long tradition of American music. Her modern take on universal themes such as love and relationships provide the listener with a unique insight into a world where she seems wise beyond her years.
