“We wanted to film simple, elegant imagery that would conjure up some of the isolation and lost love that runs through both “Mr. Rodriguez” and “Yellow Eyes“,” explained the directors, Finley and Morgan Wise. “And a silver-hued character standing alone in the world-beautiful, proud, but also somehow mournful-felt like an interesting, honest concept to play with.”
