Two Gallants’ New Album “The Bloom and the Blight” Is Available Now!

The Bloom and the Blight marks the fourth studio album by San Francisco’s Two Gallants, and is the band’s first record since 2007’s self-titled release. Head on over to Amazon, iTUNES, or the Two Gallants official website to pick up your copy. A special vinyl package is also available: a 180 gram LP that comes with a bonus 7-inch, which includes a cover of Abner Jay’s “I’m So Depressed” and an etching by drummer Tyson Vogel as a B-side.

It had been three years since Two Gallants played together, and when they rejoined, The Bloom and the Blight materialized quickly.  Produced by John Congleton (The Walkmen, Explosions In The Sky, St. Vincent), The Bloom and the Blight moves away from Two Gallants’ more folk and blues-based past, representing the duo’s ferocious live show and their past steeped in punk and grunge.

Known throughout their young career for a tireless touring schedule, the band has embarked on a massive North American and European run, beginning with an intimate show at the Rickshaw Stop in San Francisco on August 8th in advance of their Outside Lands festival slot on August 10th.
