Lee Ann Womack’s new album ‘The Lonely, The Lonesome & The Gone’ out today; read NY Times profile

Lee Ann Womack‘s new album ‘The Lonely, The Lonesome & The Gone” is out today – read an extensive profile in the New York Times and pick up the album on red or black vinyl, CD, or digital download or stream it everywhere: http://smarturl.it/law-official

NPR First Listen streamed the record before its release, calling it “an album that shows Womack to be one of American roots music’s foremost auteurs, one with a compelling voice for storytelling and the vision to use it to powerful effect,” while LA Times says the album is “one of the most personal albums of her impressive career.”

Produced by her husband Frank Liddell (2017 ACM Album of the Year winning producer for Miranda Lambert’s ‘The Weight of These Wings’) and largely recorded at the legendary SugarHill Studios in Houston, TX, ‘The Lonely, The Lonesome & The Gone‘ features more Lee Ann Womack co-writes than all her previous albums combined, making it her most personal collection to date. The album mixes the country, soul, gospel and blues of her native East Texas, into an audacious, sharp-edged work of art.

Lee Ann will play three intimate shows in Nashville, Los Angeles and New York City to celebrate the release of ‘The Lonely, The Lonesome & The Gone,’ with performances at Nashville’s Grimey’s record store on Oct. 24, LA’s Troubadour on Nov. 1, and Brooklyn’s Rough Trade on Nov. 7, plus select shows with Alan Jackson and Willie Nelson.
